Your first day after publishing
What happens when your website goes live, and the five things worth doing first.
Updated October 15, 2026
When you publish, your website goes live straight away at its free address, your-name.plumso.site. In the next few minutes Plumso writes the rest of it for you: a page for each service, an about page, a contact page and a page for each area you serve. You do not need to do anything for that.
Where things are
The dashboard has five places:
- Overview: new leads, upcoming bookings and who to follow up with.
- Website: the editor, your pages, photos, past jobs and blog.
- Customers: everyone who has been in touch, as a pipeline, an inbox and a calendar.
- Automations: follow-ups that send themselves.
- Settings: your business details, leads, bookings and hours, your web address, your team and your plan.
Ask Plumso sits above them. Ask for anything in plain words, like "add a section about our warranty" or "who have I not replied to?".
Five things worth doing first
- Check your details. Settings, Business details: your phone, hours, address and the areas you cover. Everything on your website reads from here.
- Add your own photos. Website, Photos. Real photos of your work beat any library photo.
- Set your hours for bookings. Settings, Bookings and hours.
- Connect your own domain, or buy one. Settings, Website.
- Put Plumso on your phone, so new leads reach you the moment they arrive. See "Plumso on your phone".
Still stuck?
Ask Plumso in your dashboard, or choose Get help in your account menu. Real people read every message.
