Plumso Studio · Getting paid
Billing your clients through your own Stripe
Connecting Stripe, sending a setup invoice, billing monthly, and keeping track of who has paid.
Updated October 15, 2026
You can bill your clients from Studio, into your own Stripe account. Plumso takes no cut and never holds the money; Stripe's own card fees apply.
Connect Stripe
Payments, Connect Stripe. Sign in to your Stripe account, or make one. Stripe may ask a few questions before it switches payments on.
Bill a client
On the client's page, under Billing:
- Invoice: a one-off, like your setup fee.
- Bill monthly: the same amount every month, like your hosting and care fee. It starts from the monthly fee you entered for them.
Stripe emails each invoice with a Pay button, and reminds them before and after it is due.
Keep track
Payments shows what is recurring each month, what is outstanding, what is overdue and what came in over the last 30 days, with every invoice linked to its client. From any invoice you can send it again, mark it paid (cash or check), or cancel it. When a client pays, or a payment fails, you get an alert.
